Dan Seals and a close race in the 10th

I thought I lived in a neighborhood that was predominately Republican. There are the telltale ceramic deer, lots of churches, and there were George Bush signs everywhere two years ago, leading me to believe I lived in a Republican stronghold. Imagine my surprise and excitement when Dan Seals for Congress signs began appearing throughout the neighborhood drastically outnumbering the Mark Kirk, Republican incumbent lawn signs. At least in this suburb it feels like people are ready for a change. The poll data corroborates my suspicion and this race is becoming increasingly close. The media is filled with stories about the 6th and the 8th district Congressional races of Melissa Bean and Tammy Duckworth, but be prepared for a close race in the 10th district as well. As much as I would love a sweeping victory for Seals, it’s exciting to know how important every vote will be.
