Moral Conundrum

For Jews: Which scenario is the best for the Jewish people? Which scenario is the worst for the Jewish people? Does gender matter?

a. Jewish boy marries non-Jewish girl (children will be raised with a little of each religion)

b. Jewish girl marries non-Jewish boy (children will be raised with a little of each religion)

c. Jewish boy converts to religion q to marry religion q girl (children will be raised religion q)

d. Jewish girl converts to religion q to marry religion q girl (children will be raised religion q)

(For non Jews substitute religion of choice for Jewish)

I’m not sure when I became so right wing about this issue. I would rather have the Jewish person convert out of the religion and raise a family with one religion than to have a person half-heartedly cling to a religion that has little meaning to them and will have less meaning to their children. I acknowledge that this removes the Jewish person from ever finding a greater connection with Judaism, or the non-Jewish spouse eventually converting, or the children having a Jewish connection and eventually continuing the Jewish people. Life was less complicated before the Jews Became White Folks. Ugh (bring on the hate-mail)

How is that "right wing"? It seems to me that the right-wing approach is to place all emphasis on making more Jewish babies, and none on "meaning".
